Happy Thanksgiving, staying for now, and my son on the radio!!

First of all, Happy Thanksgiving to my (yes, all 10 of you!) devoted readers!! : )  I hope that your day is full of love and laughter- and thankfulness- not to mention the best food around!

Secondly- I am going to hang around longer.  I think I may have issues.

And Thirdly- for those who may listen to Dr. Laura's Corny Joke day- Jack was her first caller today!!  He made her laugh!  His joke-

What is the difference between chopped beef and pea soup?

Anyone can chop beef, but no one can pea soup.

Thank you.

And for my sisters, I love you and can't wait to see you guys!!

It’s about that time….

I am thinking of discontinuing my blog.  I just can't think of creative fun things to write about, and I am not sure who reads it- really other then my sisters, and friends, who know my life story anyway- so I am considering getting rid of this.

So, HI!  It has been a whirlwind few weeks in the Markmiller home.  We are finally done with the Sound of Music.  So much fun.  But tiring.  I want to say a huge THANK YOU to everyone who took the time to comment and wished us all the best- and everyone who took time out of their weekends to come and see the crazy Markmiller family at the show.  Jack did a fabulous job with his behind the scenes work.  Truly, he was dedicated to his task and always did it well.  And Katie Mei learned every song by heart, and gave the cast lots of yummy Katie hugs.  And, Sam.  Sammy was unbelievable.  Truly!  He hit every mark, every line and every high note.  We couldn't be more proud.

Not to mention a very handsome soldier- who gave the best performance.  And he looked HOT in uniform. ; )

We did have drama!  In between the 2pm and 7 pm show on Saturday, Katie fell and cut her lip open.  Off to the hospital to get 3 stitches- and we never missed a cue.  God is so good.  Thanks to everyone who helped us out with that.

Since the end, I have been doing laundry, baking bread, making dinner at home every night, telling bedtime stories, getting ready for Thanksgiving and cuddling with my hubby while watching bad tv in our bed at night.  All in all, back to normal.

The thing that most astounds me, as I get older, is how unafraid I am to share my heart with others.  I actually have surprised myself as of late how bold I have become.  And I am not sure why.

The Hills are barely alive

We are beat.  We are crabby and tired and hoarse.  But looking forward to opening night!!  Here are a few more photos….

We had a blast on Halloween!  We had about 25 kids (with parents, grandparents and an Uncle-)hanging out at our home.  It was awesome.

IMG_7069 Air Supply.  Yes.  We went to an Air Supply concert.  See the pretty girl with the big ol flower in her high hair?  Leslie.  We all went to celebrate her birthday- dressed head to toe 80's.  OH MY GOSH.  We had a blast.  And, might I add, we looked pretty dang hot.
