Mid week. How are you doing? I am well. Sammy had his 6 y.o. well child check up today, and he is healthy as can be! Only one quick shot this time, so he was happy. We went out to lunch at his choice, McDonald’s. It is so fun for me to be able to have one on one time with the kids. Katie and I get quite a bit, but the boys it is harder because of school, so I covet these times with them. Sammy is a riot. And he has such a tender and sweet heart. And he told me in no uncertain terms that he is "So looking forward to 1st grade." When I questioned why, he replied "NO REST TIME!!" I laughed. That is my Sammy.
Last night, a bunch of us went out to celebrate our dear friend, Whitney’s birthday. It was really fun. I haven’t ventured over to La Blog de Courtney to see if she posted any incriminating photos, but I will let her tell my embarrassing tale of woe. (not really, but it sounds good) We had a really neat time. We laughed a lot and then talked a lot. I am so thankful for all of you! Love you girls.
Tonight, I am singing at church at a funeral for a sweet sweet lady who passed away. It should really be a neat service, but I have to have the mindset that this is only a regular Sunday and not a funeral. I am not sure how I will do, but she requested we all sing and which songs, so I am honored. We will miss you, Carol.
Okidoke, off to rest a bit ….
