So my afternoon was inspired by a phone call to my dear friend, Christina. She mentioned in passing that she cleaned out her fridge today. Harumph, I thought, I should do that too. I have a love/hate relationship with my fridge. I like that the shelves are easy to clean. I like that the door has moveable shelves. I hate that it is side by side. The next one we buy will not be. I also hate that no matter what temperature we set it to, if we let the veggies sit too long, they freeze. We have tried everything. But, this encourages me to eat the veggies all the faster.
But, I will tell you a little trick I learned from my friend Tricia. Notice, no link to Tricia- girl you gotta get a blog. Anywho…do ya just hate the milk schmuck that is left on the shelf? It used to drive me crazy. I am a bit of a germaphobe, so that just makes me all squidgy. Tricia taught me the trick of puting a clean dishtowel across the top shelf each time you clean. NO milk schmuck! Then the towel goes in the wash and presto! Clean and mostly germ free. : ) Here is a photo of my fridge. You can just make out the towel.
And now for my product plug… at Target, my very favorite store, they have a new line of cleaning products called Clean Note. OH MY GOSH. I LOVE THEM. They are not listed anywhere on line, so I have a photo of them. They are with all the natural cleaners. I just love the way they smell. My personal choice is the Lavender Basil. Yummy! And they clean really really well. Okidoke.
